Louise Hay (Los Angeles, October 8, 1926 - San Diego, August 30, 2017) was a motivational author and founder of Casa Hay, a literary publishing house. Louise released several self-help books, being considered one of the founders of this genre of literature. Lecturer and professor of metaphysics, she began her career as minister of Mind Science in 1971. She has helped millions of people discover and use their full creative potential for personal growth and self-healing. She is known as one of the greatest disseminators of the concept of self-help. She is one of the best-selling authors in history in the publishing market around the world. In his books, he proposes that physical illnesses are generally psychosomatic. She herself lived with cancer (a disease that she cured without the help of conventional medicine), and then she definitively discovered her vocation to teach people that this type of illness is a reflection of the behavior pattern that the individual emanates to the world. So, he developed positive thought patterns to reverse the progression of various diseases. In 1976, he published his first book, Heal Your Body. He began traveling around the United States teaching workshops on how to love ourselves and heal our lives. His works have been translated into more than 25 languages in different countries around the world and some of them have made The New York Times bestseller list.
